Roger Watters’ prior books are of poetry which was a form he became comfortable with when he came back from Vietnam. They are: From the Avenues of the Mind, Toothpick Forest, Stationary Witness, Who Stayed, and Voice of My Pen. He was asked to do a book on the history of Diamond Sportsmen’s Club. This club was formed after the land became available as a result of court action. The club that had leased the land, decided not to try and purchase the property. That was when several members decided to try and form a club and buy the property, Roger was one of them. As a result, Diamond Faces - The Story of Diamond Sportmen’s Club is available through the club.
